Re: Sky Q my thoughts

Well, Sky Q has upgraded some of their boxes being later ones to offer HDR HLG which has almost zero encoded content! The primary reason for choosing the HLG HDR is that the ports and satellite transponders will not support the full bandwidth requirements of Dolby Vision/HDR10/HDR10+? They state the...

Apple TV 4K and Dolby Atmos/Vision streaming services

An Apple TV 4K UHD connection to Denon Audio Visual Receiver (AVR-X1600H) Dolby Atmos/Vision capable system for testing the streaming services to ascertain the format support from streaming services in vision and audio. I did consider buying the Sonos system for Dolby Atmos but it is too expensive a...

Re: Sky Q my thoughts

Sky Q UHD HDR is not going to be available until late 2020 at the earliest. It amazes me that the equipment ever got off the ground it was so dated when it came to market with ports that are incompatible with anything modern like HDR 4K content, it's completely ridiculous. It will likely need new Sk...

Assessment for the mind

Eyes sweep up to cameras in a position of photographic delight for those to examine into the reception, swing rapidly, violently around the room. Feet cold from the bareness for the heart. Walking through those doors locking behind oneself, forceful to push a door so heavy bound. A button that passe...

Re: G.fast technology what it means low latency, and top speed.

I've seen that when the router is rebooted that the synchronisation speed does change even though it shouldn't. Also, seeing now synchronisation speed changes even without a router or modem reboot and no line disconnections which would likely be down to improvements with fast rate adaptation (FRA) o...

Re: Complaint South & East CMHT Plymouth

My reply to NHS complaints and CMHT after further consideration this is public. It is amazing the reply I got from the NHS complaints department in Plymouth when raising a complaint about the CMHT. Some of the details are just untrue until the complaint was sent through to psychiatric services for a...
