Sky's VCOP on minimum guaranteed live sync speed suspended

Post by embleton » Sat Jun 11, 2022 12:42 am

Those wishing to join Sky should be aware that they don't belong to the Ofcom Voluntary Code of Practice (VCOP) on minimum guaranteed live sync speed currently, and therefore new users will have almost no right to get Sky investigated by third-party and ultimately investigated by Ofcom when their throughput speed drops below MGS - 10% between the hours of 8 pm and 10 pm daily to an internet speed test site's infrastructure.

Be aware that it is wise to join an internet provider who has signed up for Ofcom's VCOP and it protects your rights to an honest speed guarantee that you can do something about! 😎
