I find art is a really therapeutic tool, to express myself, but also to distract and forget my woes, do you?

I do find art therapeutic and did so whilst in hospital, but these days I mainly use technology in the pursuit of the arts and draw with graphical utilities and produce diagrams in UML for system design. I've been known to create the occasional icon also and enjoy writing which is very artistic!

I also enjoy photography, but I don't have a good enough camera currently and only use a smart phone for taking snaps on the spur of the moment. If anyone can afford to give away or purchase me a nice digital SLR, I wouldn't turn it down, I'd then really take that up as an enjoyable hobby

Didn't realise you like to take photos. It is well worth saving for a DSLR camera, a good investment. Being behind the camera gives me a strange and quite confidence, like a mask to hide behind when I'm out and about. You are welcome to come around some time and use some of my art materials, as is your lovely wife. Take care, I'm wide awake at five am

When I was in Saudi Arabia it was my pastime to snap a few photographs a day, and I got some interesting ones of striking lighting across the skies during the storms that occur yearly. Also took pictures of unusual vehicle crashes, as the driving is terrible in that country! Had a standard SLR camera in those days, which was the late eighties, early 90s.

I don't have that camera equipment anymore as it was stolen from my house, but do have a replacement SLR camera that's faulty now, but have all the lenses that will fit a DSLR sony camera.
