Sky forum feedback on its usefulness

It's amazing how the Sky forum system is with its inabilities to write drafts, delete a post or edit a post to ones liking even though time has passed, basically to correct oneself slightly with that post in mind; once a post is locked onto the system the author can no longer do those things mentioned, after a preset time interval. Surely updating the system is in order, all of these things I can do on my own forum.

I was on the Sky forum today reference modifying their system so authors could amend their posts after the very limited event of about 6-12 hours (not sure on how long in reality, just a guess) that this can be done. Basically superusers stated you should proof read your articles accordingly even though I do make mistakes owing to my disability and concentration issues with that approach. I'd like to see this system modified accordingly so you can go back and do it almost indefinitely. Answer was basically that they need to protect the structure of the conversation, do they not trust their users in this matter and surely authors have the right to amend their articles accordingly.

This will be my final post to you on your forum or any where else for that matter.

You really do need to brush up on copyright law before you go making threats of further action and the consequences of breaching copyright law.
The right to quote and the fair usage right both cover me for using as much of the material that is fair to demonstrate my review your accusations and insults to a 3rd party should i need to.
You could try to take the matter further however you would fail in any action as i have breached no law in any way(and i have checked this with my legal team),if i had quoted parts of your post in a complaint(which i didn't by the way i decided it would be pointless and frankly a little childish for me to do so)then i would be quite within my rights.

I will now take my leave of here and will from now on simply ignore any replies here(or you could if you so wish delete my account)and any posts that you make on the Sky forum as i have no desire to converse with you any longer.

I'm not taking any action at all just stating what I've read in the copyright act itself, which I have read. I agree there is a right to quote small sections of copyrighted work, there is no doubt concerning that, by the way. And I assume that you haven't done anything wrong in that respect, but I was not sure where and how much you quoted as it's likely you did so in a private hidden section of Sky's system. But you did state in a PM you quoted sections somewhere.

Fair use does not apply in UK, it's fair dealing in UK copyright law.

And thank you for clarifying the issue reference this matter, much appreciated.

1. The first paragraph was sent to a forum manager @Angela-W at the Sky forums., with the list of links.

2. The reply from Sky is 'the posts cannot be deleted, for it destroys the conversation'. Received from @Angela-W at Sky at 14:59.

3. I have informed Sky that these articles may remain on their site with, provisional, hyperlinks to the articles on my site at the bottom of each article published here.

After being notified accordingly formally above by their PM system to the following individual above within Sky, who has stated they will not remove the infringing material. Such is a violation of copyright is so recorded today, and Sky individual informed. Costs will be sort, and damages and the content must be removed from the Sky forum or attributed with a link to each original article above.

Thank you Sky for removing from those hidden forums, which were of little use to myself, and I don't like the NDA entailed anyway that I will keep for 6 months. It is nice to know how you deal with those who live with mental health issues, when things go wrong in their life. If Sky so access this site or an agent, they will announce themselves privately and clearly state this NDA does not run out at the period specified, otherwise the above will be honoured but no commercial sensitive information will be revealed in such topics. The terms of use of this site will so be held by all subscribers, in announcements. But such information that was passed over the public internet by Sky unencrypted and capable of being intercepted (sniffed unencrypted traffic) will not be covered by a NDA, as such would be Sky's responsibility to protect such a system so transmitted without SSL/encryption, as such information is public from their hidden forum site.
