The virus, spyware and malware environment.

I'm often queried from those that pick up viruses, spyware and malware on their Windows systems and have encountered numerous quantities of the for-mentioned in my travels. Even with good antivirus products, it's so easy for individuals to encounter a nasty and install it on their system, why is it so difficult to protect our computers from these nasties automatically? And what products do people use generally and recommend to those without the knowledge to remove these nasties manually, with the exception of those that have the knowledge like myself? ;)

It will be the death of Windows...

How do I change the BCD of the installation DVD of Windows 8.x/10 to ensure that it identifies the boot.esd and install.esd files? Thanks Bye

Basically, you need to convert the boot.esd to an ISO image and burn a CD/DVD with that file. There are a few sites that explain the process on the internet just search for 'boot.esd' on Google for instructions.

The end is nigh!

Seven years later Windows is still better than MacOS (or whatever it is called).

Windows can even run software that is over seven years old!
